Amazing food and service. We tried a variety of offerings and all were 10/10. Sunday roast was superb - 1/2 a whole Jerk chicken with an immense amount of sides, simply mind blowing. Burger was thigh , beyond hude and flavours off the chart. Wings , we tried jerk with scotch bonnet, nice heat but not silly hot. Pork tacos also a winner. Drinks lovely, service very friendly, staff all brilliant. Any time we are down in Portsmouth again, it's a defiante revisit. We'll done to all involved, you are all amazing
As food reviewers - this place is perfect . The food served here is made with love, soul and passion. Flavours are on point and cooked to perfection. Staff very friendly and efficient. We were in the new extension (green room) as a family of 4 on valentines evening. Server was persistent and checking everything was okay within reason he wasn't annoying at any point. We ordered a lot as wanted to try a variety of things: curry coat box meal, pork belly & fries meal, 1lb jerk chicken, mac n cheese and mango wings and alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. We had no complaints at all everything was delicious. At the end of the night comes our bill less than 80 which was nice and reasonable and allowed us to leave a nice tip. One of the hosts offered our boys ice cream which was an excellent gesture for a family and was greatly appreciated by our boys. 100% recommend to anyone for the experience and already planning our next visit! Incredible place! Loved the atmosphere and the staff were absolutely fantastic. We went for unlimited wings and fries and every single bit was perfection. Not to mention the fact that we were able to take the wings we couldn't finish home!! Drinks were also delicious Would absolutely come back again!
Came here as I was craving Jerk chicken. And goddamn it did not disappoint. Food was immaculate with huge portion sizes. The house beer was great too. We sat outside in the beer garden, which was more like a beach bar so super unique and we loved it. Will be back to try the cocktails soon.
Seen a few reviews for nattys on YouTube, Facebook etc, so decided to give it a try....... Oh my days, absolutely blown away, from the friendly welcome, to the cocktails and the food, just absolutely superb, I had the jerk pork box with frys and my wife had the jerk chicken, and we were both very happy with our choices , so much so, that we also got some more jerk wings to take home, I would highly recommend this fantastic venue, I would also recommend booking a table, as it was quite busy, but I'm not surprised at all. We will definitely be back
By far the best restaurant in Portsmouth if not the south of England. Natty’s is a must visit restaurant. You can see the effort that goes into food and the service. Natty has built this place from the ground up and the food continues to be the high standard he started with. From order to table in 10ish minutes, regular check ins through. I can’t fault anything about this place and I recommend it to anyone visiting the coast.
A great place and lovely food. The jerk smoked flavour of the chicken and pork was amazing. We even tried the jerk jackfruit and that was amazing as well. The rice and peas was over done/too wet (not Shelley rice) but some people like it like that so haven't taken a star off. I was pleased to see "Tru Juice" (authentic box juice from JA) on the menu and my husband loved the Guinness punch. Great family spot and overall really enjoyed it.
First time visiting Nattys and we all loved it, nice family lunch and the kids ate free. Jerk chicken, the burger and the Dutty beer were a 10/10. Good kids choices even for fussy eaters. Nice beach area with sand out the back. Server was Chelsea and couldn’t have been more accommodating with moving heaters, bringing high chairs over and making sure we had a nice time. Feel good place, we’ll be back for more.
